With an overall length of 127ft (28m) and 100ft on deck, Solway Lass is the largest Tall Ship sailing the Whitsunday Islands. Built in Holland in 1902, the Solway Lass has an amazing history. 1st registered in Hamburg as a cargo carrier, she served in both World Wars, then called Sydney home in 1980/90s, where she was used in the 1st Fleet re-enactment celebrating 200 years of settlement. Cruises of the Whitsundays are casual and offer a Tall Ship Experience of a bygone era. Solway Lass boasts deck space galore, with a Bow Net and Tarzan Rope Swing, snorkelling gear, and air-conditioned cabins.
